Description

Nogginnockers (or "Noggin Nockers" as it's mistakenly shown on the title screen) is the original game upon which the improved Nogginnockers 2 is based. You should probably play the sequel if you're looking for a fun time, since it features many improvements from the original. The authors themselves clearly point out that this game was made in a couple days and you shouldn't expect an exemplary experience. Anyways, it's basically Pong, but much more bloody. This game is not for children!Nogginnockers is a quirky and obscure DOS-based puzzle/action game released in the early 1990s. Developed by Acord Games, the game features a unique mix of arcade-style mechanics and reflex-based challenges, providing players with a fun and unusual experience. Gameplay Core Objective: The player must defeat enemies (called Noggins) by strategically smashing their heads together in increasingly challenging levels. Mechanics: Control your character as you move around the screen to manipulate enemies. Push and pull the Noggins into each other to "knock" them out. Avoid being trapped or touched by the enemies, as this can lead to losing a life. Levels: Each level introduces more enemies, obstacles, and hazards, requiring both quick thinking and fast reflexes. Power-ups: Collect occasional power-ups to gain advantages like temporary invincibility or speed boosts. Features Retro Graphics: Simple pixel art visuals with colorful characters and environments. Humorous Tone: The game embraces its lighthearted and comical premise, with goofy animations and sound effects when Noggins are knocked out. Arcade Gameplay: Fast-paced, challenging gameplay that becomes progressively harder as you advance through levels. Sound Effects: MIDI-based audio and amusing sound cues that add charm to the game.
